Space-time structure of alfven resonant disturbances generated by transversally-localized FMA-wave

The study describes space-time evolution of Alfven resonant disturbance generated by transversally-localized fast magnetoacoustic (FMA) wave originated at the impulse action on its localization region. Conditions are determined of formation of qualitatively different space-time structures of Alfven resonant disturbances at different relationships between parameters characterizing dispersion and absorption of the Alfven disturbance, as well as resonant absorption of transversally-localized FMA-wave. Analytical descriptions of spatial structures of Alfven resonant disturbances, as well as of their time evolution are given.
