Psychodynamic features of female police officers

The article presents a comparative analysis of different approaches to the structure of temperament and diagnostic results of the individual typological questionnaire by L.N. Sobchik conducted among 130 female police officers. It defines the normative range according to octagon pattern of the individual typological questionnaire and its features while examining the criterion of viability. Psychodynamic properties of the resilient female police officers are comprised of average and low values of extra-, introversion, spontaneity (impulsivity), sthenicity (active self-fulfillment), rigidity (resistance to stress, punctiliousness), lability (changeability of mood), lack of anxiety (caution in decision-making), and low sensitivity (impressibility). Based on the standard deviation (sigma) method, the research defines the number of persons with high rates of psychodynamic properties represented in the form of “chamomile” pattern. The distinctive features of psychodynamic properties of “resilient” policewomen are low anxiety and sensitivity (impressibility) atypical for female psychology.
