Diagnostics of cognitive functions failure in personality disorders (based on the model of schizoid personality disorder)

Ppersonality disorders have not been studied thoroughly in psychiatry. Chapter F6.0 of qualifier ICD-10 represents an eclectic mix of the phenomenological and psychodynamic criteria selected by the researchers conventionally. More diagnostic criteria are needed to objectify the diagnosis of personality disorder, and to differentiate it from normal character. Psychological researches of cognitive functions can be helpful to solve the problem. Author presents his approach in diagnostics of schizoid personality disorder.
