Psychological characteristics of shyness in adolescence

The article analyses shyness as a common and complex aspect of interpersonal relations. The importance of the topic is determined by the fact that the communication difficulties caused by shyness become one of major psychological problems of a person. The undertaken psychological analysis of the adolescent shyness has allowed the author to conclude that shy boys and girls are people with complicated negatively-experienced symptoms of qualities. The results of the study of shy boys' and girls' self-concept have shown a complex of ideas about shyness in adolescence.
