The paper discusses the definition and systematization of spatial dimensions of living environment representation. The general psychological, social-psychological and ecopsychological methodological contexts are analyzed in the format of which the “representation” as construction is operationalized. Such a spatial feature of the representation as a structure characterized by the number of elements, the extent of their differentiation and the characteristics of the relationship with each other is highlighted. The spatial features of individual elements, that make up the structure of representation are analyzed: size, the sequence of representation, distance from each other and from the “I”. The directions of research areas, that focus on the psychological content of living environment spatial dimensions, are identified: the structure dimensions bound to the degree of mastery and acceptance of living environment, the identity with it; the dimensions of representation elements indicate significance and importance of this element for the subject, may indicate a direction of emotional assessment of this element.
