Studying history of drawing up a professional diagram in psychologists' researches the authors conclude that it is necessary to develop a professional diagram of an officer of the Internal Affairs' agencies. It aims at thorough selection and deployment of staff according to the profiles of activity, effective psychodiagnostics of professionally important qualities which will help practical psychologists.
