Psychological features of job satisfaction of university employees

The article presents the empirical findings of the features of job satisfaction of university employees. The attitude of the employees towards different factors influencing job satisfaction is discussed. The author considers the correlation of the general job satisfaction and motivating and hygienic factors, social-psychological attitudes of a person in conative-and-need sphere and personal basic needs. The paper compares the results of two groups of university employees: non-academic members of university administration and assistants and higher-education teaching personnel.
