The article presents the results of the study of interaction of the subject and spatial environment of his daily life. The expediency of turning to everyday self-help techniques as a psychological means of regulating the interaction of the subject and the spatial environment of everyday life is substantiated. Theoretical approaches to explanation of psychological content of this phenomenon are highlighted. An empirical study of everyday selfhelp techniques related to the operation of spatial relationships by students has been conducted. Among them were highlighted the following: structuring and ordering of spatial-subject environment; changing places, moving in the spatial environment and “looking” out the window. It is determined that for “inclusion” in the work for students, techniques related to structuring and ordering the spatial-subject environment are important; for relaxation, techniques related to movement in the spatial environment and “looking” out the window are important.
