Psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of school pupils education

The article considers various approaches to the term «diagnostics» (philosophical, psychological and pedagogical, methodological), gives results of teachers' competence examination in the field of diagnostics of pupils' education. The effectiveness of education is verified according to three criteria: pupils' educational background, cognitive curiosity, and cognitive independence. The data of researching the effectiveness of educational technology that is developed by the author are presented.
