Psychopedagogical competence as a condition of professional self-actualization of a lecturer from a technical institute of higher education

A comparative characterization of psychopedagogical competence of lecturers from different departments is given on the basis of the research results, done in Samara technical institutes of higher education. Here is given a conclusion that lecturers without basic pedagogical training experience a lot of difficulties in the process of students' education, learning the trade empirically. At the same time low degree of organization of psychopedagogical competence impedes from harmonious professional formation as well as from creative self-actualization of a lecturer in his educational work.
