Psychological and pedagogical determinants of civil and patriotic education of students in the educational environment of the college

The article proposes the author’s interpretation of the phenomenon of “civil-patrioticeducation”, reveals the basic psychological and pedagogical determinants of the formation ofcivic-patriotic qualities of a person, determined by the social situation of development and theinclusion of a young person in socially useful activities. The main age and psychologicalcharacteristics of the personality of boys and girls studying in college are noted; the complex of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the implementation of civil and patriotic education isrevealed: organizational - psychological, psychological and pedagogical, reflexive - prognostic; a list ofthose activities that contributed to the solution of the problems of civil and patriotic education of collegestudents is presented.
