Psychological-pedagogical bases of maternity and paternity formation of students

Modern Russian society undergoes huge changes in social status of a parent. The article reveals authors conception and approaches to the problem. For the effective implementation of socio-psychological functions of mother and father, it is necessary to have skills, value orientations, knowledge of psycho-physiological characteristics of children and awareness of parental roles. The article presents an attempt of theoretical analysis of the issue of motherhood and fatherhood in modern society, the authors concepts and approaches of understanding this problem are disclosed.
