Pushkin “key” to the Kalmyk text of E.A. Gan: the story “Utballa” in the context of the “ sophisticated” narration

The Pushkin character analysis of E.A. Gan is considered in the projection of the Pushkin tradition. There are included the Kalmyk and “sophisticated” works of the author in the communicative and aesthetic polylogue. The Pushkin basis is represented at the conceptual and motive and visual levels in the context of the poetics of the conflict and plot. The analysis of the story “Utballa” is oriented to including the ethnographic text in the all-Russian literary context.
