The article examines the means of objectification of emptiness in the Buryat language in the aspect of the axiological worldview. The specificity of perception and endowment of described fragments of space with cultured ideas about the connection of objects and phenomena and their properties in reality has been established. The analysis of the array of texts in the Buryat corpus allows to conclude that the invariant feature of emptiness (lack of fullness) forms a series of evaluative meanings functioning as attitudes, based on the recognition of the advantages and disadvantages of objects characterized by the feature of emptiness. The considered linguocultural values have an illocutionary effect due to the transmitted priorities that form markers of existential significance. The authors have identified that emptiness in the external world is perceived as a locus of unfavorable conditions for the realization of vital needs. The emergence of such negative axiology is conditioned by the understanding that this fragment of space lacks familiar order and definiteness. In the value situation of the person’s spiritual world in the Buryat language, emptiness serves as a symbol of inconsistency, fruitlessness of actions and thoughts, insignificance, meaninglessness, idle talking, hunger, and poverty.
