Expanding the range of spectacular-visual forms in the realities of urbanism: trends and problems

This article examines the causal aspects of the development and popularity of actionism as a social and aesthetic phenomenon that occupies a prominent place in the space of a modern city. Special attention is paid to the fact that the genesis of various art practices is associated with the sociodynamics of culture in the variety of its trends and problems. Due to the fact that in the conditions of a technogenic civilization, the tendencies of expanding the leisure sphere and increasing mass demand for vivid impressions are intensifying, actionism is becoming increasingly popular. On the basis of a number of theoretical and empirical materials, the article reveals the peculiarities of the functioning of spectacular-visual forms of actionism, which bears traces of aesthetic pluralism and ethical relativism. The increasing attention to the aesthetic aspects of the lifestyle of people in the urban environment is associated not only with various facets of the "entertainment industry" and the commercialization of the leisure sphere, but also with signs of a decline in the culture of interpersonal communication in public space. Hence the emergence of such new areas of humanitarian knowledge as aesthetic anthropology and projective aesthetics.
