Adaptive physical education (APE) and sports are becoming increasingly important areas in modern society, particularly in the context of globalization and integration of people with disabilities into social life. In recent decades, there has been a tendency to increase the number of people with disabilities, which requires more intensive attention from the state and society as a whole towards the issues of their physical rehabilitation and social integration. This is due not only to the increase in the number of people with disabilities, but also to the development of the health culture itself. In the regions of the Far North, the importance of addressing these issues is particularly pronounced due to the unique climatic and social conditions that significantly influence the accessibility of physical activity for people with disabilities. The implementation of this task through adaptive physical education will significantly improve the well-being of all citizens.
