Development of convergent skills. Modern methods of formation of youth media culture in the system of additional education

The paper summarizes the practical experience of the formation of youth media culture on the basis of key All-Russian and regional platforms of additional education: the interregional forum "Mediarobovyatka", the Center for Children's Creativity (Novomikhailovsky village) and the All-Russian festival-Forum of children's screen creativity "Boomerang". Based on the analysis of their activities, a universal methodological toolkit has been identified and systematized, effective for the development of media competencies, convergent skills and early professional orientation in the field of media. The key elements of the presented model are: a project-based approach in the intensive format; differentiation of educational trajectories through a system of multigenre competitions; a three-level mentoring system; integration into government programs and partner networks; creation of a sustainable developing media environment. The findings can be adapted and implemented in the practice of educational organizations working with juvenile media and media education.
