Development of motivation for professional activity: experience of teaching practice

The article deals with the development of students' motivation in the process of studying at a university. The analysis of the concept of motivation is given, the factors of its development, the structural components of motivation are determined, the characteristics of internal and external motivation are given. The necessity to pay attention to the development of motivation of students in conditions of mixed learning is substantiated. The results of an empirical study of the development of motivation for professional activity among undergraduates of the University of Culture are presented, confirming that by the end of the first year of the master's degree, internal educational motivation prevails among students, most undergraduates are ready to overcome difficulties and new tasks, are ready to improve themselves and develop. Effective methods of motivation development in the process of studying pedagogical disciplines are determined.
