Development of professional motivation of students in the process of specially organized research work

The author’s approach to solving the problem of developing professional motivation among university students is presented. The content of the concept of “professional motivation” as the most important and fundamental component of professional training of a modern specialist is revealed, a model for the development of professional motivation in the process of specially organized research work and experience in organizing research activities of university students are presented. The use of methods proposed by the authors for developing the professional motivation of university students with the help of specially organizedresearch allows students to more effectively conduct student research, immerse students in a scientific environment, which helps to obtain practical skills in the development and conduct of scientific research.
