The development of education system in the modern world

The article discusses the main educational trends in the modern-day global social context, such as integration of national education systems into the global educational space, interculturality, mass nature, continuity, significance, relationship with the innovative economy. The study reveals the priority areas of the teaching trends development: social and practical orientation of training, unlocking the creative and intellectual potential of a student. The peculiarities of university’s educational process at the present stage of its development are the introduction of author’s programs, the expansion of forms and methods of interactive learning, the focus of educational process on various channels of human perception. Professional development of teachers is carried out in the process of interiorization of professional knowledge, which is acquired through a variety of modern opportunities for obtaining information via the Internet, digital libraries, Skype forums, continuing distance learning. The article presents the author's concept of the development of the modern education system.
