Implementation of the principle of federalism in the context of improving the functioning of the internal affairs agencies of the Russian Federation

This article analyzes the impact of the constitutional principle of federalism on the or-ganization and functioning of the internal affairs agencies of the Russian Federation. It analyzes tran-scripts of speeches by the President of the Russian Federation and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia from 2020 to 2025, highlighting the main challenges faced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia during this period. Ways for improving the activities of internal affairs agencies, taking into account the implementation of the principle of federalism, are proposed.
