Currently we see the growing interest among the scientists conducting their research in the field of pedagogics to the issues dealing with social maturity of students of higher education institutes. Such close attention is due to the change in demands which modern society makes to specialists. They are supposed to be not only highly qualified professionals but also fully functional members of the society they live in. This fact brings forward the problem of the development of socially significant personal qualities. Social maturity holds an important position among them. As a rule, the research of social maturity implies working out its structure, content and building up a model with regard to different social and age groups. The offered principles of the integrative approach to modelling the structure and content of social maturity of students of higher education institutes can be used by other researchers to model this phenomenon. The aim of the research is to single out the principles of integrative approach for modelling social maturity of students of higher education institutes. Quantitative analysis, content analysis, structural analysis and modelling of social maturity were used to achieve the aim of the research. The principles of integrative approach are singled out and the model of social maturity of students of higher education institutes is developed. The principles of the integrative approach to modelling the social maturity of students of higher education institutes can be adjusted to build up models of the social maturity of different social and age groups.
