Reformative activities of the Turkish linguistic society in the period of the language revolution in Turkey

The article deals with the analysis of the activities of the Turkish linguistic society concerning the issue of the transformation of the Turkish language, its modern state at the important stage of its evolution, including the transfer from the Arabic script to the Latin alphabet and the lexicographical work of the exchange of the prevailing Arab-Persian lexical units of that time by the original Turkic equivalents and the other measures of the language engineering of the beginning of the 1920s.
