Regional Practices in the Institutionalization of New Forms of Youth Volunteer Movements

The article shows the process of institutionalizing new forms of volunteer movements at the regional level. The article aims to identify and characterize new forms of youth volunteer movements in the Republic of Buryatia and assess their potential for insti-tutionalization. Objectives include identifying and substantiating regional practices in the institutionalization of youth volunteer movement forms. Using systemic-activity, structural-functional, and institutional methodological approaches, along with analy-sis of existing practices and theoretical research on the topic, the study identifies and justifies the experience and pedagogical potential of public organizations in supporting volunteer movements and fostering youth motivation for volunteer activities. The article highlights successful practices of the regional public organization DobroDom, which servers as the republic-level volunteer resource center, demonstrating oppor-tunities for institutionalizing new forms of volunteer movements in the Republic of Buryatia. The conclusions have outlined the challenges faced by public organizations involved in volunteer activities and propose approaches to enhance the effectiveness of youth volunteer practices, which serve as a foundation for cultivating an active civic posi-tion among young people. The novelty of the study lies in identifying and institution-alizing the best regional volunteer practices as key elements in youth development.
