Regulatory and evolution of the artistic style of the era in the interpretation stage of the text: from “The cherry orchard” by Anton Chekhov to “Cherry orchard” by A. Shapiro and “Garden” S. Ovcharov (from the Russian theater of modernity to European theater of the absurd and costumed parody of postmodernism)

Comparative analysis of modern interpretations of Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard” in the film and on the stage as an example of exemplary modern directorial works offered in this article. The basic idea: to Chekhov production was authentic and the audience understood, modern director must translate it into the language of art era, without compromising the reliability of the text.
