The article deals with the content of the recreational focus of occupation-based physical training of higher school students. The authors describe and scientifically substantiate an original model aimed to improve the efficiency of occupation-based physical training of students by means of recreation resources. The developed and implemented model of occupation-based physical training has provided positive changes of students' functional and psychophysical qualities.
