Goal. The aim of the study was to determine the efficacy and safety of electro-lithotripsy (EILT) apparatus “Urolit-105M” in patients with different localization of urinary stones. Materials and methods. The study included 879 patients aged 19 to 88 years old with stones of kidney, urinary tract and bladder. Females accounted for 46.3%, males - 53.7%. 91.5% of patients were admitted to hospital on an emergency basis with renal colic, 8.5% - in a planned manner. All of the patients according to stone localization were divided into 3 groups. The first group were 54 (6%) patients with renal and UPJ stones, the second - 799 (91%) patients with ureteral stones, and the third - 26 (3%) patients with bladder stones. In 90.3% of patients the disease was uneventful, at 9.7% - there were various complications of the urolithiasis. Results. EILT overall efficiency was 96%. Significantly lower pulse energy required for fragmentation of pyelo-caliceal system stones (PCS) and ureter than bladder stones. The values of the EILT pulse energy in all groups were comparable, but the number of pulses required for the destruction of stones of the bladder was significantly higher than PCS and ureter, for ureteral stones only single or paired pulses were used, for bladder - series of pulses. A large number of pulses at a high multiplicity and their repeated series in Group III were caused primarily by larger size of stones of the bladder. Adverse events and complications occurred in 8% of patients. Conclusion. Electro-impulse lithotripsy is effective and safe method of destruction of stones in all parts of the urinary tract.
