Revolution and Russian avant-garde (first quarter of the 20th century): historical and philosophical aspect

The first quarter of the 20th century in the history of our state is full of dramatic events: revolutions, wars, the collapse of the Russian Empire. Revolutionary changes in society led to the formation of a new historical reality in time and space. New trends in the development of society were reflected in various forms and directions of art, including the Russian avant-garde. The article examines the relationship between revolutionary changes in Russian society in the first quarter of the 20th century and their influence on the work of avant-garde artists based on the analysis of artworks, articles, personal correspondence and contributions to the formation of a new art direction.
