The results of the 2014 field season of the project devoted to the study of ancient humans'' adaptation to environmental conditions are presented. Work was conducted in the Kyshtovka, Ust-Tarka, Tatarsk, and Kupino counties of the Novosibirsk Province. It is established that the major part of archaeological sites is located on the watersheds, and the edge of watershed surface on the contact with river valley is the most typical position of archaeological sites. Some sites, even though are situated in the river valley, belong to the cut-off lobes surrounded by river floodplains and terraces.
