The results of the study of the moral position in the structure of readiness for choice undergraduate students (direction of training 44.03.02 Psychological and pedagogical education)

The development of students’ readiness for choice is one of the main tasks of modern education, which is refl ected in the main regulatory documents and is conditioned by the social order in the conditions of variability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of the VUCA world. In our study, we focused on studying the features of the moral position in the structure of readiness for choice, which ensures the manifestation of activity, awareness, independence and responsibility of students in choosing. The obtained research results allow us to conclude that it is necessary and possible to develop the moral position of the chooser, including using the methods of “Analysis of the argumentation of choice” and “Subjective quality of choice” (D. A. Leontiev et al.). The article also provides examples of the eff ective use of psychological and pedagogical forms, methods and means of developing students’ readiness for choice in general.
