The results of clinical approbation of the complex point scale assessment of severity of chronic placental insufficiency

The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of an integrated point scale of severity of chronic placental insufficiency. A prospective survey was carried out and included 220 pregnant women in the third trimester of gestation, who were diagnosed chronic placental insufficiency according to the results of clinical and laboratory instrumental examination in pregnancy dynamics. Comparison of clinical diagnosis of severity of chronic placental insufficiency made during pregnancy with the use of different diagnostic approaches, with perinatal outcomes and morphological verification showed 1.3 times advancement in the accuracy of diagnosis of chronic placental insufficiency when complex point scale assessment was applied with the calculation of the final index that showed the degree of compensatory-adaptive processes in fetoplacental complex.
