The results of the regional screening program for the identification of cervical pathology

Cancers of the reproductive organs make up to 42% in the structure of the total cancer incidence among females. About 90% of cervical cancers are associated with infection by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The paper presents the statistical data of HPV-related cervical cancer morbidity and mortality in the Republic of Ingushetia during the period of time 2001-2016 y., as well as the results of a regional screening program for detecting cervical pathology using the diagnostic test-system careHPV.
