The role of acoustic resonance in oscillations of stratified atmosphere

An acoustic resonance for acoustic-gravity waves (AGW) and internal gravity waves (IGW) in the neutral atmosphere is considered. The oscillation equation is analyzed by the Frobenius method around the acoustic resonance points. The equation reduction to the form with analytic coefficients is shown.
