The role of the agricultural industry in ensuring food security in Russia

The article considers the development of the agro-industrial complex in the country as a whole and in a particular region for 2020-2023. In the course of the study, modern problems of the development of the agro-industrial complex as the main factor in ensuring food security in Russia are identified, as well as ways to solve these problems are proposed. It is concluded that ensuring food security is associated with the agricultural and production potential of the country and an effective mechanism for its management. Only the presence of an effective process of investing in the agro-industrial complex is able to solve production and organizational tasks, create prerequisites for innovative development and counteract threats to the country's food security.
