The relevance of the study is due to the fact that at the present stage of the development of education in general and music in particular, characterized by the active use of remote technologies, the distribution of digital content, the development of communicative abilities of future teachers-musicians, music teachers is the basis for ensuring the interaction of subjects of educational process, for the formation and development of students' motivation to study music. The article examines the structure of communication abilities of creative professionals, identifies the personality qualities that have a positive impact on their development. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that the authors have identified the most favorable conditions for improving the communicative abilities of future music teachers in the course of conducting and choral training within the framework of choirmaster practice. It is concluded that communication skills are an important part of the professional competence of a teacher, as they contribute to the optimal organization of interaction between a music teacher and students, so special work is needed to develop them in the course of conducting and choral training of bachelors-future music teachers.
