This article studies the functions of Hamlet context at figurative and structural levels in the novel «Getting into Character» by D.E. Gromov and O.S. Ladyzhensky. The study is focused on the mythopoetic aspect of this novel, connected to the Christian and Hamlet motifs by H.L. Oldie.
