The role of electronic information and educational environment in the implementation of a differentiated approach in teaching mathematical disciplines in higher education

The possibilities of the electronic information and educational environment of the university in the implementation of a differentiated approach in teaching mathematical disciplines in the first year of a technical university are considered. The characteristics of the technical and pedagogical components of the environment that are important for the implementation of a differentiated approach are identified. Based on testing, a tendency for pronounced differentiation of 1st-year students by the level of knowledge and the quality of mastering individual issues is confirmed, and the relevance of using a differentiated approach is substantiated. The main steps to ensure targeted support for students using the information and educational environment are shown: assistance in developing skills in using the workspace of mathematical disciplines; development and placement of content for differentiated learning; use of a wide range of training forms to ensure its effectiveness; an increase in the share of independent student work. It is concluded that the use of the electronic information and educational environment ensures the effective implementation of a differentiated approach, an increase in the quality of students' knowledge, and their satisfaction with the learning process.
