The role of commercialization in the interaction of the university management subsystems

The changes taking place in the modern world trigger transformational processes in various social institutions. As the authors of the article emphasize, the institution of education is no exception and is subject to various transformations. Currently, one of the processes that has become widespread in higher education is the commercialization of education. The paper analyzes the degree of development in the scientific literature of the problem of modern university commercialization, which has in recent years attracted the attention of researchers. It shows changes in the direction of management and reveals new goals and prospects for its development. It is concluded that the commercialization of higher education entails changes in the management process of higher education institutions themselves - the university management system is expanding due to the emergence of new staff positions. The commercialization of education is expressed in such trends as obtaining a commercial result within the framework of the implementation of educational, research, and economic functions. The management system of the university within the framework of commercialization is presented in the form of two interconnected subsystems - the managing and the managed, their activities are aimed at innovative transformations.
