The role of metaphor: cognitive activity and cultural anthropology

Бесплатный доступ

Philosophers have focused on the study of everyday reality, coincidences and episodes of human life. The study of human feelings and cognition encourages the explanation of human nature through the analysis of the way of life, but not only by looking into thoughts about themselves and the world. Therefore, there are debates about contradiction between the natural origin and the spiritual existence, while other scholars overemphasize the subjective component. The author examines the critical issue of understanding human life in terms of scientific and technological progress and socio-cultural transformations.
