The Role of the Moscow Musical Society and the Moscow State Institute of Culture in the Patriotic Education of Youth

This article examines the history of the Moscow Musical Society and the patriotic aspects of its activities. It describes the development of the Moscow Musical Society and its role in Russia's cultural life. The history of the Russian Musical Society, founded by Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna in St. Petersburg in 1859, represents an important stage in the coordination of musical performance. The need to open branches in Russia's most numerous regions and cities, with Moscow being the most important, is discussed. The article also examines the coordinating activities of the Moscow Musical Society in the current context. It also explores the organization of patriotic education at the Moscow State Institute of Culture, which celebrated its 95th anniversary. The Moscow Musical Society also celebrated its 165th anniversary. Their collaboration on patriotic education, with its expansion to national and international levels, is examined.
