The role of municipal media education centers in raising the region's media and information literacy

The paper mentions the experience of the Media Education Centers in the Tomsk, Sverdlovsk Regions and the city of Taganrog, the Media Education Center for Artistic Creativity, which was created in 2020 on the basis of the Center for Children's Creativity "Radost" of the Gaysky Urban District of the Orenburg Region. It is emphasized that Media Education Centers can become one of the most important stages in the formation of a regional model of media education in the field of musical and artistic creativity, increasing the media and information literacy of the region.
