The article deals with the study of the agonal-eristic tonality of the discursive practices of the communicative construct “political rap battle”. The eristic tonality provides an emotional accompaniment to combat actions compared to the agonal practices of rappers, applicable in a verbal contest or a rap battle to win over an opponent in a wide and accessible way. The parameters of the eristic tonality of the discursive rap practices are highlighted which involve the definition of the intonational background, forming a pragmatic charge for an unconditional victory over an opponent.
