The role of self-projection in the youth involvement into the space of life fulfillment

The article substantiates the necessity of research and development of young people's self-projection skills as a factor to ensure their involvement into the space of life fulfillment. Objective: using the example of students of psychological and pedagogical specialties to study the degree of formation of young people's ideas about future professional activity, setting the contexts of their involvement in life fulfillment in the long-term, and about the role of self-projection in the formation of themselves as a professional. It is revealed that freshmen are focused on helping people; the trend is maintained by undergraduate students; the representation of students specialized in the process of vocational training is differentiated. Ideas about the need for self-development and selfeducation are expressed by less than a third of students. Self-projection skills are present in a tenth of third-year students and in half of the students in the final year of a specialist diploma. The data obtained can be used in the practice of training future psychologists and educational psychologists, as well as in the development of programs to increase the involvement of university students in the space of life fulfillment.
