Dostoyevsky's novel “Raw youth”: problems of canonical text

In the choice of the main text researchers are usually guided by the last lifetime edition. Such is the case with the publication of Dostoevsky’s novel “A Raw Youth”. The article is concerned with the results of textual analysis of manuscripts and printed editions of the novel. The obtained results allow us to assert that the magazine edition of the novel is the most preferable one in the preparation of the novel’s canonical text.
