Russian on Hungarian stamps

The article is devoted scientific problem of forming and structuring cultural Other. We use symbols of Russian and Soviet culture on Hungarian postage stamps as object of research. Russian discourse is considered in historical aspect. We show changes inside of Russian theme in Hungarian philately from end of 40-s (first facts of using of Russian symbols on Hungarian postage stamps) until modern time. There is absolute correlation between using by Hungarian state of Rusian-Soviet symbols and periods of Hungarian history. Eventually we can see that images of Russia and USSR with ideological symbols from postage stamps become signs for forming identity. Authors compare using of Russian symbols and using of images of world history and culture.
