The Russian expressionism in system of the vanguard phenomena

Art of vanguard speaks about exhaustion of esthetic opportunities of classical tradition. Need of cardinally new understanding of the phenomena of reality, their analysis and assessment which are expressed in courageous experiments is obvious. Shock value becomes the integral line of such most considerable schools and movements of vanguard as futurism, an imagism, dadaism, surrealism, an expressionism. Fragility of existence, uncertainty of borders of the phenomena and fight for uniqueness of the offered way of development of art is peculiar to the vanguard phenomena. Yu. N.Girin in the article "Vanguard as Style of Culture" wrote: "… various "-isms" mainly did not replace each other in an evolutionary vector, and existed parallel, almost synchronously, in parallel each other"[1].
