Semantic peculiarities of semi-suffixational adjectives in the modern English language

The article deals with the study of the semantic peculiarities of the semi-suffixational adjectives in the modern English language. There are defined the criteria of revealing the semi-suffixational elements, there is defined their corpus, there are described their functional and semantic characteristics. The basic attention is paid to the analysis of the meaning of the semi-suffixational adjectives compiling the second group by the presentability following the nouns in the studied material from the perspective of the part-of-speech belonging.
