The family as the value-semantic model of culture

The article deals with the problem of interaction of the concepts of "freedom" and "culture" in the family. The author considers culture as a protector of freedom and, in this context, examines the concept of "drugosti", norms and values in the intra-and intercultural communication. This perspective allows us to represent the family as value-semantic model of culture. It is concluded that, based on the difference in the perception of reality, the tradition as a cultural experience of ancestors, family members form a family model in the culture. For any choice of stability is based on the adoption of the proposed system of values, subordinating and Taming their self-will. Similar behavior is key to stability in the society. That is why the family remains for thousands of popular form of human coexistence in culture and society.
