The analysis of dynamics of quality indicators of cow milk of a number of farms of various ownership forms in Verkhovazhsky and Totemsky regions of the Vologda region has been carried out. The main quality indicators of milk influencing on decrease of purchase prices of raw milk are revealed. The assessment of the applied production technology, storage and primary processing of milk is given. The main reasons for decrease in milk quality, connected with keeping disturbances, feeding, cows’ health conditions have been defined.
