The symbolic cognitive model “helm” (chair of authority) and the ways of its actualization

The article deals with the description of the ways of the explication of the cognitive model “helm” (chair of authority) and its variant “helm”. The cognitive model and its variant have the similar characteristics: 1) they are explicated the verbal constructions, expressing the active principles of the one who symbolizes the power; 2) they are the symbol of the Russian linguistic culture. In the modern linguistic culture, the “helm” has become to associate with the “feeding box” as the result of the consonance, acquiring an ironic reading.
